Morning departure (before 10 AM) for a 480 km drive from New Delhi to McLeodganj's hotel. Make sure you start as early as possible without wasting time. For group departures, pickup is from NDLS station, and for private trips, pickup can be from anywhere in New Delhi.
Enjoy landscape views along the way and mountain views during the journey, with a few short breaks for lunch, tea and restroom. Arrive at McLeodganj's parking area, check into the hotel, enjoy dinner and take a rest for the next day's 7 km trek.
Note: Traffic will be heavy in McLeodganj during peak season, so it is important to plan ahead. The vehicle will be parked at the parking area so that customers can easily board and de-board from there. It will be 100–200 metres steep down/up to reach the hotel from the parking area, as it is on a mountain-top corner for good views from the hotel balcony the next day.
